“Great pellets that work brilliantly in our Ooni pizza oven. Was great value when buying the 20kg bags (2x10kg) as you also get natural fire lighters. Poor planning on my part ordering the Friday evening of a bank holiday meant they took a little longer to arrive than I think they otherwise do but they kept me regularly updated as to their progress. I love that they plant new trees when you purchase and will definitely be buying again.”

“Initially I had concerns about using softwood pellets in our Ooni Fyra, I thought maybe temperature wouldn't get where it needed to be, maybe they'd burn quicker so you'd end up using a lot more so it would be a false economy. I've not done extensive actual timed testing but having used both softwood pellets from Love Logs and hardwood pellets bought from Ooni I wouldn't say I noticed a massive difference between the 2 (apart from the price) so in my mind that makes these very cost effective. I'll be buying more, definitely.”

So here's the science... once you sawdust and pelletise softwood, it actually has a higher BTU (energy content) than hardwood pellets.
The manufacturers want you tied in to buying their pellets but there is NO need!
