Ahhh thanks so much for the review Kevin!
I personally like mixing oak with our standard logs for a more active flame, but you can't be oak for the amount of energy 🔥
Happy log burner season!

“I've had these oak logs before and they were nice and dry. This batch here is damp, I'm just so glad I bought a box of cherry too because my smoker wouod be sitting doing nothings until this oak dries out. I have to spilt the splits in order to keep my temperature at 250f
They are chunky don't get me wrong and my first order was perfect so I'm hoping this was just a mistake.”
Hi Ryan
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and respond to my emails on this.
As I said, we would have loved the opportunity to collect the wood to test it ourselves and see what's gone wrong to prevent it happening again, but I understand you have already used the wood so that's not possible. I'm confident this was a one off as we have double checked the rest of this batch and it was all reading well below 20% moisture.
See you again soon!
Thanks
Heather
“Lovely oak logs delivered in good time! Great smell straight out the box and a great burn and Smokey flavour on my offset bbq! Will continue to use LoveLogs!”
“I have a wood burner. I find the oak logs give a lovely glow and a long burn time. I tend to mix with other faster burning for “flames ».
I’ve started a regular delivery as I don’t have a lot of storage, and it’s easier than having to transport them home.
No plastic, sustainable. Recommend.”
“Not ideal if you’re new to fire/wood burning stoves; I’d have cried if I started with them. Now I love them. Good quality sustainably sources and no plastic.
What’s not to love?”
Thank you for the brilliant review, Peter! You're right, Oak logs are best for seasoned users as they can be harder to light but they're great once you get the hang of them 🔥
See you again soon
