“It's a great mount but now overpriced and despite the fact it seems fully secure I can't help but feel a little nervous about it when zipping around at speed. The grip may be strong enough but what if the device itself breaks? It doesn't seem as if it would however. Just will take some time to trust. One thing to note is you probably don't want to use it on a phone without a case protector. Although the mount is smooth it's a little awkward to insert the phone and there's a risk of scratching the phone on the metal of the mount arms. I have a pixel 4 xl with case and the mount is just about extendable enough for that.”

“I'm quite disappointed with the product as it doesn't hold the phone securely.
I purchased two Loop Mounts, one for me and the other one for my partner. It seems like the bigger the phone it loses its grip more often. I have an iPhone X and my partner use an iPhone XS MAX.
At two weekends, a total journey of 7 hours, we cycled within London, his phone fell off from Loop Mount 5 times, mine fall off once. We did cycle through to some hills and some bumpy road but stay on tarmac road mostly. He was using a hard phone case that had the worst grip from Loop Mount but even swapped to a soft silicone phone case it still fell off twice. The product itself looks very well made however it appears to fail the ability to hold the phone securely.”
