“I bought a Sangean world band receiver (portable radio) from Amazon. It arrived from the manufacturer from Holland. It's mains plug was continental but with the 2 pins projecting forward from the main body. I had never seen one like it before. Trawling the internet I saw a picture of this adapter which has a recess in the back the same shape as my projection. Perfect. The whole lot fits securely into the wall socket.”
