“I'd been looking for a 100w coach lantern with an override switch on the unit for some time as a replacement for our 12 yr old one that finally gave up. I read a review of this product that referred to the override switch so I purchased on the strength of the review. However, this lantern does NOT actually have an override switch. Instead, the override is activated via a wired light switch, or, in my case, I bought a switched adaptor from Argos and simply plugged the lantern into that (5amp fused plug). It was an added expense however the unit itself is excellent quality and so easy to fit, it was worth it. I look forward to many years of service from this lantern.”

“Seems to be well made and for the price you can't beat it. The fitting it replaced was aluminium but was showing signs of corrosion, paint flaking off etc. This is polycarbonate so should last much longer. The panels arte cast as one, so no fiddling about with individual glass panels. Installation is very easy. Wire in the always-on circuit as this is much better than the flicking the supply on and off method. Both methods work but a bypass switch is far better. PIR range is as advertised. I would have been prepared to pay more for better range but I searched all over to find such a lamp without success.”
