“I bought this strip light to replace one I have had for many years and which just disintegrated. It was one of a run of strip lights. I had been told that this type of light was no longer available. I found Lighting Direct using Google and the product was a perfect match. The amount of detail on the website allowed me to be pretty sure it was the right fitting. All I had to do was unpack it (fabulous packaging, by the way), clip it into the clips already there, connect the cables and switch on. It was perfect. I was delighted.”

“It's a replacement for an existing fitting. Only problem was the power connectors had changed and we're incompatible. Adapter lead had to be made.”

“The light unit I ordered turned out not to be compatible with my other light units, so could not use it. It would have cost me £8 to send back under there returns policy so was not worth sending back as would have cost nearly the same amount to send back as it did to purchase.”
