“Being "vandal resistant" I was expecting this light to be a lot sturdier than it is, the black plastic casing is very flimsy and bendy, whereas the transulcent cover is a lot sturdier than the casing. Like all knockout holes in plastic enclosures, they're very difficult to "knock out"; I use a flat 20mm drill bit to drill out the knockout holes ensuring I always get a nice clean hole for wiring. Good points are that the light has plenty of space for wiring, I bought two of these lights and there was plenty of space behind the mirrored diffuser to hide wiring connectors to connect cable going to the second light.... I ordered the light along with the recommended Lyco 10w LED bulb, paired with this enclosure, this fitting provides ample illumination. My lights are fitted down the side of my house and connected to a wall mounted PIR sensor to illuminate our "outside utility" area (i.e. rubbish bins, garden hose, outside brushes). These lights are not the most attractive, but for this location, they are perfect.... I have a feeling they will last for years.”

“Once installed, it’s Just fine, if a bit on the light side. I would not buy this again if only because of the extreme difficulty removing the entry plugs. This took considerably longer than installing and wiring up the whole thing. The knock-outs don’t knock out, don’t even try, you will destroy the whole fitting. They could possibly be removed by drilling out with a step drill, but I did not have one with me at the time. If you did try that you would have trouble finding the exact centre of the circle. This ended up a very expensive fitting to install, better to spend the money on something better designed and put together in the first place.”

“All polycarbonate base and cover (no corrosion likely) Brass BC lampholder (Plastic ones get brittle and break). Wiring is to simple connector block avoiding awkward connections to lampholder. Four screrws hold cover securely sealed. All pros no cons. Best quality bulkhead ever bought and price was very reasonable.”
