“Great light - very bright for the wattage and nice and lightweight slimline design. A little fiddly to clip into place - definitely a two-person job with a stepladder, but worth it once it's up. The electrics are a doddle ... basically, two wires of live and neutral with no need for an earth wire. Simples! Plenty of cable with it so flexible as to where your electrics are. My kitchen has never been so well lit.”

“I was a bit shocked when I opened the package as the Batton lights looked very small and lightweight. But I was surprised when fitted how good they performed and being so small and lightweight very easy to put up.”

“Having fitted this sleek, lightweight, twin batten as a replacement for the double fluorescent tube fitting that has lit my kitchen over many years now, I can't begin to praise this LED version highly enough. It gives out a light that is an ideal colour temperature and appears to be considerably brighter than the old fluorescent model. I found fitting it a tad 'fiddly' to connect and support its length at the same time, but worth a little swearing afterwards. Lighting Direct were easy to order from and did everything they were supposed to do. Well worth considering if you need lights, or at least that was my experience!”

“Bought these for my workshop, I just wish I'd done it ages ago. The lighting strips are easy to fit and give a brilliant light to work in. I had bought one lamp to try, I ordered two more after i had tried the first.”
