“I'm sure this is a good light. I did fit it after confirming a couple of things with Lighting Direct. Firstly, it is advertised as a 12W and I checked with them because I wanted to ensure I was comparing like with like on a Lutec Shrimp II on a different site where it was offered as 15W. I was told "we only have the 12W". When it arrived, it was 14W! This didn't matter too much to me but I found it odd. Secondly, and crucial to my purchase, is that it is described as having a manual override. The user instructions didn't mention it at all so, before fitting, I queried it with Lighting Direct. I was told it did have one and was sent some picture instructions showing how it is achieved. So I fitted it and I liked the light it gave and the ability to move the light direction with the twin lights. But, the instructions to activate the PIR sensor override didn't work. When re-boxing the unit for return, I notices that the Lutec product code on the box (7622104330) was in fact a sticker. The real product code underneath was 7622109330. When I searched for this product code, I could only find it on the Ukrainian Lutec site where it was shown as 14W, with no mention of a manual override. I did find some instructions for the 7622104330 product online and they do have details of the manual override and how it was activated - the pictures I was sent were from those instructions. I have to say that the return and refund process went very well and Lighting Direct were very prompt in responding to my queries. It's just that, based on this purchase from them (my first), they don't seem to know what they are selling. I'm afraid it has made it very difficult for me to consider future purchases from them.”
