“This would be a great lamp except the first one was broken. The replacement arrived incredibly quickly but was also broken. Now in order to get a refund I need to pack both lamps up and get them sent back. I’m not sure if it’s a product issue or a courier issue but either way I’m really disappointed.”

“My lamp arrived very damaged and poorly packaged. The box was wet and ripped. The o spin side was was very damaged. The arm was cracked and smashed and the shade broken. I’m still waiting for my replacement to be sent.”

“I really like this lamp, and I have put a (separately purchased) 25W bulb in it. I think a trick has been missed in not lining the black velvet hat in gold so that the light emitted is more 'glowy'. I also think the finish on the monkey's body could have been a little brighter, as it is a rather dull gold. Overall, though, the design is unique and if not quite as expected, could be made to be so by a little attention at home. The lamp is satisfyingly heavy, but not overly, and sits squarely on a flat surface. It is about the size expected. A talking point.”
