Thank you for getting in touch. This light is one from our "Coastal Range" - lights that are manufactured from materials are resistant to air borne salt which can have a very corrosive effect on some materials destroying the aesthetics as a minimum. The sensor can be overridden to allow the light to stay on all the time as we advise in the specification along with other features. We have a large range of PIR lights (at various price points) on our website with their specifications detailed comprehensively. Perhaps you did not choose the most appropriate for your requirements. “Exactly the look and design I wanted. Only downside is the time the light stays on after being triggered is not adjustable. Most movement sensor lights allow for this function.”
