The Claire single light outdoor wall fitting features a die-cast aluminium rectangular frame in anthracite finish with clear glass panes and PIR motion sensor. This modern lantern style light has a truly contemporary look and is great for modern outdoor spaces, providing warm illumination at night. The discreet PIR movement sensor on the base has an 8 metre and 100° detection range and the time duration can be adjusted between 5 seconds and 8 minutes. “My review is not so much about the lantern as about lighting direct(LD). The light was beautifully made, good quality but we could not get it to work. The company offered advice about the wiring but we still could not get it to work. I contacted LD and they were brilliant. I returned the light following their instructions. It was collected from my home and a full refund given. The received excellent service and communication with LD. I bought three other light fittings from LD which were also excellent quality and when fitted worked perfectly.”

“We would have given it 5*. However the wiring up we needed came down from the top and not from behind. Also the tiny Hex keys are so small to turn making it such a difficult installation for any person. It would have been impossible had we not had our own small scaffolding to stand on.”

“Love this light (we originally ordered 7!) as it does the job and looks modern BUT disappointed that JUST AFTER the two year warranty period one with built-in PIR sensor packed up and electrician said 'can't be fixed'. Additionally a few of the others are now peeling (plastic coating).”
