Not as bright as a conventional halogen floodlight but thats what I wanted, works well and provides enough light to see what your doing / deter undesirables without lighting the place up like dawn is breaking.

Well made unit, easy to fit. Shaped lantern limits light spread to lawn area, ideal. As I have mounted the unit at attic level I would have preferred a wider area PIR, i.e. detecting closer to the house. Mounting the unit high has the advantage of being above our normal sight line.

Good solid light, straightforward to fit. Not as bright as I?d really wanted but that is my fault for not researching lumens!
