“Lighter to wear than the H7.2 non-rechargeable version, it perform well. Giving an even bright light with adjustable beam width I use it mainly for doing jobs in poorly lit areas and it works very well. When I've used it for an hour or two I tend to put it on charge so it is ready for next time. The only part that seems a bit flimsy is the charging lead socket cover on the battery pack. It is working fine now, but we'll see in a year or two.”

“Used several times and works well, used in dry and rainy conditions. Charges in a couple of hours. Used for sea fishing and does the job well; used in both economy and full brightness mode.”

Hi James sorry to hear of your problem with the torch switching on in your bag. To prevent this happening simply use the transport lock function. This is activated by pressing the front switch when the headtorch is off for 5 seconds. To unlock simply do the same. Thanks Matt

“Had the mark1 version of this for years. Purchased the mark2 after the former eventually died. I prefer the mark1 i am afraid. The new battery pack is twice the size and the elastic strap is way too small and has that annoying springy cable. Sorry but given the option i would have purchased another mark1.”
