“Before I went, I had no idea what an immersive experience could be. The following day, I can't find words to explain it to anybody. What happened? Well, a play acted out in vocal tableau in evocative spaces, intimate information from recalsigent priests and assorted plotters, intriguing off-piste sounds, a sense of camaraderie from our small group, technology that spun us over the City of London and across the River Thames: an involvement that is gripping: almost two hours passed in what seemed like a moment. I marvelled at the freshness of the performances, and the vitality of everyone connected with the show: and loved the careful characterisation and historical accuracy. Being essentially billed as a tourist attraction, it would have been easy for locals to have not noticed this spellbinding event: and what a loss that would have been. A wonderful entertainment!”
“Loved it! Really engaging actors, fab sets and virtual reality worked really well. Having visited the War of the Worlds previously, only one small comment on the downside was the entry/waiting area wasn't as well themed and didn't feel like it added a great deal to the experience by comparison.”
