“This was a great experience although I must admit, the part where you escape across the moat on a rope through the goggles was scary - I'm not good with heights so that was a challenge (although you are warned about this on the waiver). For people who aren't aware of the full story of the Gunpowder Plot (although I am), it gives good detail as to the motives of the plotters and even as an Anglican, I had sympathies for the Catholics of the time who were treated badly if they were caught practising mass. You are asked at the end if you regarded Guy Fawkes as a hero or a villian. I think he was a bit of both. I would recommend this to anybody who is interested in the history of the Gunpowder Plot - the immersive experience really is exceptionally good. Probably not suitable for younger children as there is some colourful language used by the actors. That aside, get your gunpowder ready and plot away! Signed: John Johnson!! “Fun for families with Teens or groups of friends. Great actors and 3 VR experiences, sprinkled with some educational history. Weather proof so great for winter or bad weather, good value food in the pub too. Interesting.”
