“Excellent experience! The combination of amazing VR and excellent live acting really made for a great afternoon.
I will be doing it again with other friends.”
“Slightly disappointed, but I don't really know why. The actors gave it their all. There was quite a lot of shouting scenes. The VR bits were pretty good even though on one part the film bkanked, jumped, paused and flickered a bit.
All in all OK, but not as enjoyable as War of the Worlds”
“Although my experience was poor, this should not stop you visiting, I put this down to attending on the 2nd day of opening and teething issues with the production.
1. During the 1st VR experience, I had visuals but no sound.
2. 2nd VR experience: The headset did not seem correctly aligned. I had to hold the front of the headset away from my face to focus the images. Also, it was very hard to see what was going on as the person steering the boat and talking was actually behind us. As the seats did not swivel, it was very hard to turn far enough around to see him
3. 3rd VR experience - So disjointed. There were lots of sequences that did not have seamless gaps - the pictures just died and in some instances long gaps and I was wondering if the show had actually ended. When each sequence started, you had to move round to find where the action was - again not seamless transitions between the scenes.
4. Overall the headsets were a nightmare. On the 3rd VR sequence, I couldn't adjust the earphones to go over my ears correctly”
“I thought it was great fun and gave me a new perspective on the consequences had the plot succeeded The actors were terrific and the first two VR experiences were brilliant, although there were a few technical glitches with the final one. I would thoroughly recommend it.”
