“Waiting in the bar for the tour to start was confusing. I was told to wait for the light matching the colour of my wristband. I was also told there was a 20-minute delay. However, in the bar, the lights were already my colour and seemed to be waiting for extra people to join the tour. I waited 30 minutes for the next slot with my colour. I still do not know if I did the right thing?
The actors were good but my group was a bit shy and did not want to interact with them much. I think you need to get into the spirit of the thing to have the best experience. The VR sections were good but a bit glitchy. I looked up and my headset display went completely white for a while.
All in all, a good experience, but not as good as War of the Worlds Immersive.”
“The acting, sets abd story are fantastic.
The bar at the start was underwhelming and disappointing but the actual experience was fantastic. Love the cloak, running through, actors and using VR headset for first time. However, the headsets do knock out from time to time but it is new technology and I was fine with that. Was great!”
“This is an interactive experience that involves actors who work hard to tell the story behind the plotters of what we know as Bonfire Night. They try hard to engage the small groups who enter the story rooms and draw them 80th the story. The acting and storytelling is complemented by VR additions to the story. These are good, but the technology did not seem to be stable. When it was, the virtual zip wire ride across London was convincing and quite thrilling. You need to be prepared to join in - you’ll get so much more out of it if you allow yourself to become a part of the drama.”
“The experience was enjoyable but limited active participation. Lots of storytelling and actors did well but missed opportunities for truly memorable event. Perhaps more team problem solving? Also, long delay in getting started was not great.”
“Brilliant, except for some v.r glitches, which derailed the enjoyment a bit.
The whole set up is great and the acting was really committed and so involving.”
