Enjoyed the experience. Actors and sets and technology good. However I couldn't hear actors well in first setting as I was near a door emitting very loud groans. Think a smaller group would be more interactive. Themed cocktails looked great.

The Gunpowder plot experience was absolutely amazing. I would highly advise it! If you love history or good acting it is a must see. The actors performed extremely well and were very fun to chat to. The staff were very helpful and kind when seating us and directing us, genuinely really lovely. I would once again highly advise all that can see it, to see it. I am a history and musical theatre student, so that my play an impact on why I enjoyed it so much. But even the people I went with (who don’t do either) both strongly recommend it and enjoyed it. Once again the actors performed extremely well and all the staff were very kind, helpful and extremely nice/ informative.

The virtual reality component was excellent - particularly the first one because the chairs moved (it would have been more impressive if the boats had moved too especially trying to avoid the « ship »!) However I just didn’t feel involved with the rest of the experience. I think that children do become immersed but less so for adults. I was distinctly aware that we were left waiting in the corridors to enable the group before us to clear the decks which adhered the fluidity and uniqueness of the experience. We had VIP tickets - the Prosecco drink was too sweet at the interval - the food served at the end was good and acceptable. Goodie bags should be in paper and no need for the poster - all three of us returned them immediately!
