“I think this must be a 4ply or heavy laceweight. Not used it before. 2 of the balls were a good match and the third was much paler. This will not be a problem as I shall use the lighter shade in the middle of the stole, so the 2 ends match. Knitting up much much softer than the skein or ball would make you think. Although this is a single I have had no problems with splitting (using Chiaogoo lace needles) but there were a few joins in each skein.”
