“I have owed a number of different shoes from shoe makers like Loakes and I have never had an experience like I did when I first opened the box, took the solid shoes from the bag. The smell, the design, the craftsmanship are literally unrivalled in any first impression of a new piece of footwear and this was all before putting the shoes on.
My shoes were delivered on a rugby match day and I had to put them straight on to use, normally and rightly so I was concerned that they would need to be broken in, but from the first minute I wore them they were ridiclious comfy and felt amazing on my feet all day.
I never really write reviews and if your reading this and thinking I sound over the top, its because sincerley I was blown away by the quality of the shoe, if your considering a pair - do you won't regret it!

“Exactly what I’ve wanted for a long time now. Superb quality all around the shoe. No flex in the heel when putting them on so no ugly creases in the leather. Extremely comfy and the attention to detail puts these a cut above the rest. Plus there’s a Lancashire rose in the toe. Worth every penny. Can’t wait to wear them for my wedding.”
