“Given three choices - OEM replacement, OEM lamp in a generic shell (which didn't look right), and the maply supplied by LampDirect.co.uk - I went with the latter. The lamp is very good, and certainly comparable with the Sony OEM lamp, both in terms of brightness and detail, including UHD material. The shell is identical to the OEM part, facilitating a simple swap for the expired lamp.”
