“I ordered some replacement gas lift cylinders for existing bar stools as one them didn't keep raised height under weight.
Fitted new cylinders from Lakeland and they have been fine up to date.
Never done this type of replacement before and used general advice on line. Separating seat from cylinder was tricky for one of stools and I had to remove seat from its base and then use end of 18mm socket to loosen joint by hammer.”
