“We had spent considerable time looking for suitable bar stools. We were willing to pay for quality, comfortable stools that would last... we hope. We had ordered 3 others from various places and been disappointed so had returned them. When we saw the Monteray Bar stools on the Lakeland site we loved the look of them. We ordered 5 of the brushed steel legged ones for our breakfast bar and 2 chrome legged ones for our work room. The stool seats are comfortable and the legs sturdy. The problem we have, which is still being resolved, is that Lakeland sent more chrome legged ones than we wanted and less brushed steel legged. In addition to this, the holes to attach the seat to one of the brushed steel legged stools didn't line up. Lakeland have been quick to sort this out - excellent customer service, however 2 of the replacement legs still didn't line up with the seat holes! I have been urged to send the whole lot back but I love the seats, they are just what we have been looking for...”

“We ordered breakfast bar chairs which came without instruction, missing parts and one of the chair legs dis not have bolts holes drilled to receive bolts. Very poor.”

“Box was damaged and no instructions. Product seems to look ok and function ok so far although if you look closely at the detail on the metal it is a bit messy.”
