Anyone remember the opening science of the ‘Ace Ventura Pet Detective’ movie when Jim Carey smashes the package to bits....? Well, that’s what my package looked like when it turned up. The chair I ordered had some minor bits broken on arrival too. In summary, great product, abysmal delivery.

Order my chair on a 48 hr delivery service last Wednesday and have just received them today. I spoke to customer services who on Monday who kindly tracked down the chair which had been delivered to the wrong depot with your provider. I have been credited the 48hr delivery charge.

Instructions are very poor and the quality is not good. Some of the boards were chipped in the packaging

Paid for next day delivery. Order arrived 6 days after ordering. Sent me the wrong items and the stools don't for together without rocking. Promised I'd be sent returns email so I can send back for refund. Still waiting. Overall very poor. Late delivery, lack of communication, wrong items delivered and the stools don't fit.

Hi Peter, I think you may need to check your maths as you ordered the stools on the 4th March at 17:30hrs we despatched on the 5th March and the stools where delivered on the 6th March at 11:59am. That i my calculation is next day delivery as your items where purchased after the cut off on the 4th. 06/03/18 11:59 Your parcel has been delivered (Carlisle depot) 06/03/18 09:24 Your parcel is with one of our drivers for delivery (Carlisle depot) 06/03/18 05:39 Your parcel has arrived at your local depot (Carlisle depot) 05/03/18 15:02 Your parcel is at our sort centre (Shaw hub) 05/03/18 00:00 Your parcel will be with us soon (Yodel) Secondly we have search your email, name and order number and have found no emails from you, As per our instructions you must complete the online returns form so we can complete your return. Easy to assemble, but it makes a grinding noise every time you move! Back not very strong as 1 piece. I don`t think the weight capacity is right.

Firstly I will point out that from what I have seen the bar stools do appear to be fair quality. However, as Lakeland have invited me to write a review before I have received the correct items, my review is based on the service received so far. Four stools were delivered last week in the wrong colour. I was unable to speak to anyone to resolve this and instructed to send an email instead. I received a response the following day advising the correct stools could be delivered the following week. I responded to accept this and to enquiry about how / when the other stools would be collected. By the time I received a response I was told the stools were now out of stock and I would have to wait until the end of the month for delivery. This simple mistake could have been so easily rectified with a simple conversation but instead i am left waiting over 3 weeks for an order that had originally had over 15 in stock. I have unfortunately found this company to be extremely difficult to deal with and the customer service has not been very good. I would be reluctant to deal with them again so far.

Good Afternoon, I am sorry to read that on receiving the Bar Stools you found them to be the wrong colour and then you were told the correct colour you should have received were in fact now out of stock. Looking into this further I do know you have spoken to someone in our customer service department and they have offered you a 10% refund due to the inconvenience of having to wait for the new Bar stools to arrive back in stock.
