“Ordered on the 10th May, arrived 21st. First delivery attempt was 19th. Lakeland state 3 - 5 working days. Yodel delivered late, no updates on their site for original estimated delivery of Thursday 16th, still said estimated date of 13th on the 15th...sat in waiting for 2 days and numerous emails/phone calls which have cost me money. Tried to deliver on a sunday whilst I wasnt in, address was wrong on system for some reason. Parcels just arrived open, no instructions, scratches and rust on the base of the chair. First and last order.”

“The kitchen/bar stools I bought rocked when built so I had to take the plastic floor savers off 2 legs to even them up. The stitching on the seat is so stretched it's almost holes. I would have returned them but they were built up and we had nothing else to sit on in our kitchen and with £20 to return them we settled on the worst of two evils and we kept them but I am not impressed with them.”

“Furniture seems good and when it eventually arrived it had all the components and instructions. Had an issue with the delivery so marked down severely for that, lack of ownership of the issue and a dismissive feel to my engagement with lakeland. I had paid for 48 delivery as I required in time for guests. However parcel force (one of the delivery companies chosen to be used by lakeland) decided to split my delivery onto two different routes and while the seat arrived within 48hrs, the legs didn't arrive for several days. Unfortunately this delayed delivery for several days. The parcel was out for delivery for a couple of days but it kept being returned to the depot undelivered. Obviously I did not get the full products in time for guests, but more frustrating was the time wasted having to be in everyday as it required signed delivery. I did engage with lakeland throughout but as the accountable party I did not get any support Or offers to deal with this issue with parcel force. Once resolved, by me dealing with parcel force, and after some encouragement I was given a 10% gesture of will against cost of goods and had the 48hr postage cost returned. Overall okay product but felt let down by parcel force and more importantly lakeland.”

“Ordered two stools. Got two stools but in different finishes. No paperwork with them and return service on the website is shocking. A week for a response - and that was to confirm the stools were different - which I had clearly said in my first email. Will stick to the shop in future.”

“furniture arrived damaged, and after the dinner party i had ordered them for, tried to contact lakeland, the girls on the phone cant help, you have to email,, but they dont reply, with anything sensible, and each time you email them back, you go to the bottom of the que, i asked them to phone me, they never have, i have phoned them about five times. i am now trying to get them to collect two of the chairs. not a good experience, will not order from them again”
