Good chair but doesn't go nearly as low as advertised. I chose this chair specifically because it's minimum seat height was supposed to be 42 but once installed it only went as low as 46 which is definitely too high for me ! Really disappointed.

I ordered 2 bar stools on 31st January expected delivery by 5th, 7th latest. Now 10th February after emailing the co twice, I have been told they will look into my enquiry with in 24 hours,that's been and gone! No contact phone number, just emailed them with I instructions to cancel the order. I cant comment obviously on the items as I havnt recieved them! Very very poor customer service, dont recommend lakeland furniture.

Ordered two bar stools for next day delivery. Was told items dispatched and Got tracking info. Took day off work. Next day got a message saying items were damaged and not fit for purpose

Not impressed! Ordered office chair and took time off work waiting to receive the delivery as it needed to be signed for. Chair didn't arrive within specified time and when chased I was promised a return call with updated information. This promised call never arrived so I had to chase again. I was then told that somehow my order had been lost and that the chair was now out of stock and would not be coming back into stock. I was offered an alternative chair which was not suitable but there has been no other offer of compensation for time and money lost!!

This was my first order with Lakeland and feels like it will be my last. I ordered 2 chairs online paid for 48 hr delivery .. on the 72 hr I rang @ was told I should not have been allowed to do have 48 hr error on Lakeland part. I received no e mail or SMS to inform me of that. It took a 15 min phone call from myself to be told that. The chairs eventually arrived on 96 hr.. I had asked for them to be left at back of house which was confirmed by Lakeland. They were left with a neighbour. The cherry on the top was when we opened the box @ found no screws etc to put the chairs together. Needing the chairs for a family function the following day I was told to buy screws @ Lakeland would reimburse. Special trip to B @ Q time and petrol because of incompetence on Lakelands part. On a scale of 0 to 10 .. definitely 0.

Item was delivered which was okay, but we decided to return as part of the Distance Selling Regulations. Stool cost approx £50, and Lakeland wanted to charge me £25 to return it. I refused and said I'd organise my own courier, and DPD, UPS, Hermes etc were all under £10 (inc collection, insurance and signature). I'm sure some people just accept the £25 charge unknowingly, but it is pure daylight robbery. Not impressed by this rip-off culture and significantly reduces any trust this company has. I won't use again.

Received a damaged chair and the company are dragging out either refunding me or organizing collection of the item. Seem to expect me to put myself out of pocket for the return. Very poor "customer service" and they pretend they have no phone number to deal with the issue quickly. Have wasted hours of my time over the past week and the issue is still not resolved.
