Then finally they give me a name that the managers name is shannon after numerous of calls and i mean numerous of calls. Badly managed and run, disgusting service!! Tesco, Tesco Direct, Lakeland Furniture & Parcelforce Worldwide, your lack of customer service and disgraceful handling of my situation has forced me to bring my issue into the public for all customers to see. I have placed an order for some bar stools on 21st December 2017. I received confirmation of dispatch on 22nd to say it will be available to collect on 28th December. Having been in to the store and calling the customer service number numerous times, we are still waiting on this product. The story keeps changing, first it was misplaced as tracking says it is at Tesco Central Warehouse. The story then moved onto saying that Lakeland have no idea where it went but it was dispatched. Parcel force are accepting no liability either saying that it has simply gone missing. The order was replaced and still didn't arrive by the promised date of 3rd January 2018. I then called again and was finally offered a full refund, or to wait for it to become available again as it was now out of stock. After waiting so long, we though we'd give the benefit of the doubt and wait til the 17th January. I have now been in store today and it still isn't there. The blame is being passed between Tesco Direct, Lakeland and Parcel force, however none of this is my concern, as my concern is when I will receive the product as we have now been waiting a month. I have stated that at this point I expect the product to be express delivered to my house at first available time, to which Tesco can promise nothing of the sort and will only offer refund or to carry on waiting but nothing in the form of resolving the issue or compensation for inconvenience. This is unacceptable from such large companies as Tesco, Lakeland and Parcel Force. Throughout the process i have been promised that customer service individuals will follow the order through personally and ensure it is rectified. This still hasn't been done from my point of view as I am still waiting. To all users of Tesco Direct, please be aware that most of what they are selling is via a third party partner, and Tesco will accept no liability, as well as do nothing to help. The partners themselves will not help either, as the order is placed through Tesco. Sturdy wooden stool with a very soft leather seat. First seat arrived with a slight tear on it. I contacted the company and a replacement seat was swiftly sent. It's a lovely stool I am just not sure how hard wearing the seat will be as the leather is so soft. Time will tell
