“Sadly these bar stools were very poorly made the amount of excess welding material on them meant the horizontal bars wouldn't fit flush against the leg as it was supposed to so they looked very badly put together , thankfully I have a friend who is handy and managed to remove the excess welding material so the bars fitted against the leg and saved me from having to return them . The instructions were useless and not clear enough I had to basically work it out what screws went where for myself. Having said all that ...once they were adjustments were made and they were built up these seats were very comfortable with plenty padding on the seats and back it's just a shame they were such poorly made frames.”

“Warning the wood is not oak like stated in the description - looks like beech. Sewing a little wonky on seams of cushion covers. Holes in seat to attach to frame not drilled properly - took us one hour to put the seat on.”

“Not overly impressed. Arrived a day late. Bracket doesn't have enough clearance to allow bolts to fit. Can be easily adjusted with a file but should you really need to be adjusting things yourself.”

“Only just acceptable quality. Poorly made compared to the dining chairs we were replacing. Comfortable enough for day to day dining. Very light in weight for moving around. Wipe down fabric. Finish under the seat is poor. Not easy to assemble owing to the drill holes being poorly aligned and difficult to access. The chairs don’t all sit evenly on the floor.”

“Order 3 of these stools on 25th February 2018 and deivery was delayed until 7th June. Two of them were the wrong colour and they were so uncomfortable - the seat does not have enough depth and so bad for your posture. I have asked for Lakeland to uplift them and refund my money but now they are trying to charge me £20 for each of the boxes they delivered! I would not recommend this company if that is their customer service!!”

“Out of the 3 stools received 3 parts are damaged/faulty and I am still awaiting information regarding replacements. I am therefore currently unable to use the stools, and cannot comment on the other questions. The level of quality control is unacceptable.”
