The Rasmus bar stool has a minimalist design but makes a strong colour statement.

The gently curved seat turns up at the back and down at the front creating an elegant shape. Lightly padded and upholstered it is surprisingly comfortable.

The seat is mounted on a chrome plated stem which carries an oval footrest and finishes n a circular base. A rubber floor guard is fitted below the base to prevent scratches and scuff marks.

The seat has a full swivel function allowing you to turn in a complete circle when seated and you can adjust the height using the gas lift.

“My wife and I bought a pair of Rasmus Bar Stools for a fairly confined space (1.3m wide) at a breakfast bar. They replaced an old pair and the Rasmus’s base is narrower than previously but that is a bonus because there is more room to manoevre when we sit together - and they are just as stable. The fabric-covered seats and minimal backrest are comfortable. Although the seat size is the same as before, the act of mounting the seats is more difficult due to the drag of the fabric against clothing. (Previously, we could slip sideways to get on and off because the seats were finished in a more slippery faux leather. However, we will get accustomed to this in time.) Overall, the stools are good and the grey and chrome blend well with our kitchen. The seats’ chrome trim adds a nice finishing touch.”

“Great bar stool for breakfast bar area. Packaged well and very easy to assemble. It’s sturdy, very comfortable and great that it rotates. The fabric is really nice too, and a lovely colour. Very happy with my purchase.”
