“I purchased the Youngman Megastep 8 tread large platform ladder for the twice yearly cleaning of my large car-port. Previously, I had been using a 5 foot step ladder with no handles or platform and very narrow steps, I had to stand and balance on the top step whilst holding my pressure washer lance to clean the car-port roof, which was rather precarious and dangerous to say the least, especially at my age of 75 years. The Megastep has made cleaning the car-port a lot easier and safer as I can reach much further across the roof due to the height of the ladder and it’s large platform, so overall I am very pleased with it, but maybe the 7 step one would have been more manageable. To store it in my garage I have to stand it upright in the middle of the garage where the roof height is at the highest and it just fits. The 8 tread Megastep is very well made but on the heavy side. However, if a 75 year old on his own can manhandle the ladder into position then anyone can. I can certainly recommend it to any other likely purchasers, including fellow pensioners.”
