“My reason for needing loft ladders was to improve access to the loft. Previous hatch was small, at the top of the stairs, and had no integrated ladder, meaning the need to go back and forth to the shed with the step ladders. The Youngman Eco S was the final choice, after some research online, reading reviews and comparing prices. I chose Ladderstore as I have used them to buy products through my workplace and have been very please with the service. This was no exception. Excellent service and very prompt delivery. The product was installed by myself, and although quite heavy assembled, can be done alone. I'm very please with the final result, and accessing the loft is much more pleasurable.”

“After cutting the extension piece and finding out I shouldn't have, I bought another and finally completed the job. Overall very pleased with the quality of the ladder and the look. All correspondence with Ladderstore has been easy and helpful. Especially the ladies I spoke to about delivery. The ladder has solved a problem as the only access I had to a very high loft (3.1 metre!) was the original sky light right over the stairwell. Now I have safe access, I can restore the sky light and rewire the light circuit on this on going project of a house! Thanks. Would definitely recommend.”

“Great ladder installed in a garage for access to a large loft, the ladder was delivered very quick and installed just as easily. I bought from ladder store as I have purchased from them in the past and will buy again in the future ( I need some step ladders). A great addition that means removal remnants can be stored in the loft with easy access.”

“The sales service was fast and efficient. The price on Ladderstore was the best I could find and I was pleased that the wooden ladder was of a similar price to the cheap aluminium models. I prefer wooden ladders because they give less as you load them and feel sturdier. I have installed the ladder in a house that I am restoring. I had to enlarge the loft hatch hole and this was simple enough using the measurements on the Ladderstore website. The ladder arrived quickly and undamaged and took about an hour to assemble before fixing into the hatch hole. All the parts fit together well and look good quality. The springs were a challenge to fit, given their tension, but I created a little pulley system with the plastic binding that came in the packaging. The wooden hatch frame is great because of the natural give in the material- as you install the hatch into the ceiling it's very forgiving if you need to adjust one side to make it level. Cutting the ladder to size (my ceilings are only 2300mm high) was also a piece of cake- the instructions are very clear and pretty fool-proof. All round good experience, would highly recommend the product and the vendor.”
