The knee crutch is an amazing piece of kit. It is extremely well made, stable and very comfortable.

I severed a tendon on my foot and have to be in a non weight bearing cast for 6 weeks, plus a boot for a further 6 weeks following the surgery. Ive never used traditional crutches before and didnt realise how difficult it would be losing the use of my foot but also the use of both hands while operating them. But the worst thing is the pain in your hands, despite buying hand pads. I looked for alternatives online and discovered the iWalk. Positive reviews convinced me to purchase so I was keen to share my positive experience too. The iWalk is easy to assemble, easy to put on and take off and easy to use. The relief in my hands alone is worth it! But having my hands back is going to make this recovery time so much more bearable. I can now continue with work, household chores, preparing meals, work. It is comfortable and Im hoping to reduce the muscle atrophy in my thigh that would normally result from crutches by using the iWalk daily. The psychological and physical benefits from this investment make it more than worth the money. I would recommend to anyone who has to use traditional crutches.

The crutch is extremely useful, I am using it following an ankle fracture, and although the crutch is quite heavy, I am able to walk about, climb stairs and have a degree of independence.

This device has really given me some independence back! Being able to stand for long periods, carry things, and traverse stairs swiftly has made a world of difference for my mental and physical health. I'd definitely recommend it if you have to go non weight bearing for any significant length of time and have the money to spare. (NB: I'd be wary of narrow corridors if you have long calves- I've jostled my injured foot trying to turn around on several occasions!)

Great device but my daughter struggles going down stairs due to her leg length and her broken elbow!
