I ordered the knee crutch for my husband who had a bad fall and broke 13 bones in his foot. Standard crutches were getting him down and from being a very active independent man to having to stay in one place and have someone do everything for him was depressing him and I felt we needed all the positivity we could muster to get him through. I saw the knee crutch on line whilst looking for aids to help him around the home whilst I was at work. This seemed a perfect solution. I ordered and within a couple of days it arrived. It was relatively easy to put together, the little online videos really helped. And knowing there is support if needed at the end of the phone is great. My husbands energy has been very low but he's building up gradually and being able to move around the house and garden with his hands free to make his own lunch in the day or tend to his veg patch in the garden has been absolutely wonderful for his well being. The knee crutch is an invaluable piece of kit if you have an ankle/foot break. You'll feel so independent and in control. My husband has yet to master the stairs using it but he's loving his new freedom now. Just buy one if your thinking should I shouldn't I? The sooner you get one the more use you'll have with it and the quicker you'll be up and moving.

After the pain and swelling subsided, following surgery on my fractured ankle, I did not have time to rest with my toddler and baby. Days were starting to drag and things which would usually take 5 seconds were taking 5 minutes. I was about to purchase a knee scooter when I realised I needed something to enable me to be hands free. Now I can carry my children, take plates and cups to the table, tidy up, wash up, go up the stairs, and do bath time etc. It's extremely comfortable, practical, and quick and easy to put on / take off; giving me the independence I need to get on with life while I recover. One of those purchases that you won't regret!

Great bit of kit. Really happy with it. Much more solid than I expected it to be and really great for getting around and doing normal daily tasks. Easily a billion times better than forearm crutches.
