About Kidvelo Bikes:

Kidvelo® Bikes is an exciting new brand launched in 2021, specialising in manufacturing kids' balance bikes, some which convert to lightweight pedal bikes. The founders are from two family businesses; the former official Strider Distributors, based in Australia and the UK. We had clear ideas born from 14 years of teaching children to ride, distributing thousands of balance bikes and listening to customers.

“My 6 year old loves his new bike & it's the perfect solution for him as he isn't confident enough for pedals yet but I didn't want to buy another balance bike to replace the 1 he has outgrown when he will be ready for pedals within 6-12 months. The bike is a perfect fit & has plenty of growing room (my 6 year old is only the size of an average 4 year old).”

“This is such a great bike- it’s really light yet it also feels very sturdy and well made. My daughter looks so much more confident and comfortable on it than she has on previous balance bikes. We’re using it as a balance bike at the moment so haven’t tried the pedals yet, but it’s a brilliant feature to be able to add them when ready. We are delighted with the bike and can see it’s really going to support our daughter in becoming confident cycling.”

“This bike is superb. Well built, solid but still light enough to handle. Quality components throughout and the pedal attachment is so easy. My small 3.5 year old can handle this with ease and started using the pedals almost instantly. Could not recommend highly enough.”

“We previously had an older balance bike which our youngest seemed to have lost interest with. This was unfortunate since he wasn't ready to make the leap to a full pedal bike yet, so we thought the hybrid nature of this bike meant he can be excited to ride a bigger bike again, knowing he will also get the pedals installed when he is more confident. It has worked well with our little one and he is now starting to balance much better, the footrest also trains him to raise his feet in roughly the position where the pedals will ultimately be.”
