“We bought the Smartmax starter set when my daughter was only 20 months and she wasn't quite sure how to play with them. For her birthday we got the animals and she likes putting two magnetic bits between the head and tail. The only down side is the ends don't stay in place so she gets frustrated that the feet or head turn. I prefer the vehicles but maybe this won't be such a problem as she gets older. Lovely quality.”
