“I sent a picture of my chair to Kettler and was advised that the the foot caps I needed were those for the Sienna chair. Unfortunately, they are just a little too large for my chairs, so the tops of the caps sit proud of the chair legs. Rain water therefore runs down into the bottom. I have drilled out a hole in the underside of the caps, but I am still concerned that the feet of the chairs may rust over time.”
“Once on, they are, of course, a good fit. However, a few hints regarding how to remove the worn footcaps would have been useful. It was very difficult, involving boiling water and a strong screwdriver to loosen them - and sometimes this pierced the coating on the bottom of the legs. I've done 6/10 so far. Anyone got any advice for the other 4?”
“Easy to fit. Previous caps lasted 20 years!! These are a little thinner so if they last half as long I’ll be well pleased. They are a bit expensive for what they are.”
