“We had a great time at Wellacres house. We found it to be exactly as described. Being met on our arrival by the housekeeper Alison was a bonus. She gave us an excellent tour. We were surprised by the relative lack of outside lighting, and that in such a large house there was only one t.v., but this did not spoil our enjoyment at all. If there is one area where improvements are needed it is at Head Office. Trying to ring Kate and Toms was a nightmare. They clearly need more telephone lines. Then if through one never gets the same person twice, and having to start all over again became very wearing. The contact experience was the weak link.”

“Beautiful house definitely has that Wow factor the kids have now become Mer people !! couldn't get them out of the hot tub and pool. Thank you would certainly like a return visit Jan Barlow”

“Lovely house. Size, facilities and layout worked well for our family. Housekeeper and maintenance person very helpful. But there were some irritating breakages from before us - runner wheels missing from dishwasher and also broken t/tennis bats- and it was a little below par on cleanliness ( dirty kitchen scissors& some cooking dishes), a lot of dust under some furniture. Water pressure not great, so difficult for all the bathrooms to be available simultaneously as shower went off if other calls on water at same time. Soak away system from hot tub drainage very exposed and close to decking - was not pleasant. Barn for games room was rough and not as expected from photos.”

“We had a truly wonderful stay at Wellacres for our family reunion. Guests ranged in age from 3 to 76 and the house was just perfect for everyone. So much space, super comfy beds, a fabulously appointed kitchen (with everything you need for catering to large groups) and outdoor spaces for dining, relaxing in the hot tub, watching kids play in the pool or on the trampoline. We couldn't have asked for anything more. The sun shone all week and we have left saying we will definitely return. Thankyou Kate and Toms and thankyou Wellacres house for providing such a fabulous place for happy memories to be made.”

“The house and garden worked brilliantly for my mother's 80th birthday party. Having two living rooms was an added plus and the kitchen diner was magnificent for a larger party. We made full use of the facilities - hot tub, swimming pool, 2 dishwashers etc. Brilliant that you were able to send a plumber the next morning when the hot water had stopped working and you were able to sort out Sky Sports so that the enthusiastic rugby fans could watch the Lions. Just a couple of things which would help. Putting in a short handrail for the bottom 4 steps of the staircase would REALLY help - especially for elderly people to feel safe climbing the stairs. The lights in the hot tub weren't working - these are small points which didn't deter from a super weekend”

“We went to wellacres to celebrate my mums 70th birthday there was 16 of us all together we all had an amazing time the house is so beautiful with so much to do for the children and adults.What a beautiful part of the country will definatly be back”
