“Wellacres was beyond perfect! The location, the grounds, the generous provision of 'fixtures and fittings' and the wonderful house itself. Our extended family felt so at home from the word 'go'. We had great times, as a group, in the huge kitchen/dining area. And to round it all off; in the hot tub as snow was falling! Beyond perfect. (and I think the dogs had an even better time than we did!)”

“An absolutely fabulous place to celebrate my husband 's 60th with ages ranging from 2 to 90 ! It exceeded expectations and I have to say the photos on the website don't do Wellacres justice . A truly fantastic house with everything you could think of . One of our best ever family get togethers . Thank you so much .”

“Just brilliant, the house was lovely and well organised with everything prepared to a very high standard. We all had a great time. This is the third property we have rented from Kate and Toms and they have all been first class. We had a lovely welcome from Alison, the housekeeper, and it seemed nothing was too much trouble.”

“We stayed at Wellacres for my 40th Birthday and had a fantastic weekend. The house was everything we needed for 4 families and more. From the amazing, cosy fireplace to the large Kitchen and dining table - perfect for a massive family gathering. Benson catering were professional and helpful and catered a delicious breakfast, dinner and Sunday brunch. I cannot recommend this house enough - we will definitely be returning.”

“We were very pleased with Wellacres on our arrival and the housekeeper contacted us to see all was OK, Roy popped round to go through the instructions on the hot tub etc. After we had settled in and had use of the property there were a few things that we were not quite happy with. The cleanliness of the property was not brilliant, dust under the couches, cutlery needed cleaning before use, the glass shelves in the glass cupboard need to be cleaned, I found a vermin dropping behind the large chair in the top floor bedroom which has the roll top bath ensuing and in that room vermin were present as we could here them at nite and a box of chocolates were bitten into. Finally the cooker is not the best, the ovens were dirty and the gas knobs became hot when the oven is in use.”
