“Wellacres was absolutely beautiful and exceeded all expectations. The house and grounds are exquisite and the facilities are everything you need and more. The Housekeeper was super helpful and showed us around the property and everything it had to offer. The space can easily accommodate everyone with room to spare and each room is finished to an extremely high standard. We loved every second of being there for a whole weekend and can't wait to return. Would recommend in a heartbeat.”

“Stayed here with a group for a girls long weekend away. The house and area are beautiful and so well arranged for socialising but still with separate areas so some can watch TV, some can sit by the fire, some can chat in the kitchen, etc. The house was warm on a rainy cold weekend and the kitchen was well kitted out for cooking as a group. Would definitely return.”

“Great house, but not really a house for 16 adults! Bedroom 3 is only any good for children and then only when their parents are in bedroom 2! The games room is not a room at all but an open barn which is cold and uninviting and not somewhere children can go on their own We were without hot water for 24hrs and with 6 children and a baby that made life very difficult”

“We were greeted on arrival and shown around by Alison the housekeeper. The room arrangement was good as it meant each of our family units had their own bathroom close to their bedrooms. The house was spotless and well equipped, though we did only find one frying pan. The children in the group loved the playden and outside swings etc and we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the pool on Saturday afternoon. We used a caterer recommended by Kate and Tom's for the Saturday night which was very good. Everyone agreed that the house was warm, comfortable and well equipped. Thanks very much.”

“Lovely house for the extended family with a good layout. The hot tub had not been switched on so couldn't use for 24 hours. The house is beginning to look slightly 'tired' in places and could do with a freshen up of paint etc. However, we had a great mini break so the above were only niggles.”

“Everyone in our party of 17 [8 adults and 9 children] thought Wellacres House was amazing. It had everything we could have wanted for a family weekend. The children didn't want to go home. We all have very special memories from our weekend there and I certainly won't forget my 70th birthday celebrations in a hurry. The only drawback was the weather but that was always a risk in early April and we did have one nice day to enjoy the great outside facilities.”
