“We had a wonderful family get together in this beautiful house and gardens. It suited all our ages - 11 months to 93 - and we were made to feel very welcome. Luckily the weather was lovely on the Saturday so we made the most of the beautifull grounds and swimming pool. Would certainly visit again.”

“We were a party of 14, 8 adults and 6 young children, and everyone loved The Freeth. Plenty of space inside and out, and the swimming pool was a big hit. Yes, it is very secluded, but the views and countryside are magnificent. The owners were very helpful and quickly attended to any problems. Hope we can return in the future.”

“The Freeth was a wonderful place to celebrate my 70th birthday. The beautifully presented house and gardens are fully equipt catering well for our group of 7-77 year olds. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the welcome basket and chocolate cake. The pool was a big hit with young and older family and friends. Our thanks to all the staff for making our weekend so special.”

“We were celebrating our company's 10th anniversary and book the Freeth for all our 14 staff. Both Kate & Toms, as well as the staff at the Freeth direct, were superb right from the start, really attentive and caring about getting things right for our stay. The house was superb, surpassed only by the grounds perhaps. We booked the suggested chefs at En Place for dinner on the Saturday evening which we were absolutely blown away by. Really Rural were suggested for some country activities and that experience was also brilliant, they got everyone involved and much fun was had. Cant recommend this property enough, every little detail is considered which made the whole weekend one to remember. We are already looking for an excuse to book again !”

“What a fantastic place! The setting is absolutely perfect and the house layout great for a big group event like ours. Each bedroom was beautiful; so tastefully decorated, with the three double bedrooms especially so! The kitchen was extremely well-equipped with lots of cooking and refridgerator space which was important to us. The facilities are great too with outside space large enough for us to play rounders, and the heated pool was great for a dip! The welcome package (hamper and cake) were such a beautiful touch and the movies, games and even hot water bottles were the personal touches in the house that iced the cake! I have already recommended this place and would LOVE to stay again. Thank you so much!”
