“Marsden Manor is an amazing venue. It was everything we had hoped for - a beautiful house in a stunning rural setting. We were celebrating a family birthday earlier in May, with a group varying from age 2 to 60. Every detail had been considered. We were greeted with a welcome pack, and shown around by Diana. The rooms are just delightful, with great views. The house is very spacious. The pool and tennis courts were perfect and the children were delighted with the toys and books in the little nursery room and garden house. Diana could not have been more helpful. It's well worth getting in touch with her from booking, as she knows every detail of the property and can recommend local caterers (we had Lucy Muller who prepared and served a fabulous celebration meal at Marsden) and entertainer (we chose Stuart Elwin Live Acoustic Guitar & Vocal Performer who was excellent) . It was all perfect, and we wouldn't hesitate to book again.”

“Marsden Manor is a beautiful, elegant and spacious venue. Well-equipped for groups, beautiful heated pool, two roaring fires, every room was beautifully styled with lots of cosy corners to read and relax. Worth being aware of the odd small power cut and variable wifi but nothing problematic - being away from it all is part of the joy of this place.”

“A brilliant place for a house party. Everything, but everything is there, even a box of matches and kindling in each lounge for fire lighting purposes. Lots of towels and soaps in the bathrooms and all in all a really great atmosphere overall in a fascinating house. ( just mind the steps!)”

“More than lived up to its billing on Kate and Toms website. Extremely well equipped and well furnished. The pool was an added bonus, covered against the elements and well heated. My whole family of seventeen persons had a wonderful time making full use of tennis court,croquet, pool and beautiful gardens. Diana, the house manager, greeted us and took great care to inform us of all facilities and provided a very acceptable welcome pack-many thanks. I can thoroughly recommend Marsden Manor for a family get-together or similar.”

“The house and gardens are simply amazing. The house was clean and well equipped and the gardens beautiful. Diana the housekeeper was extremely helpful with recommendations for caterers and activities. We used Lucy Muller who provided a 4 course dinner with canapés with waitress service. The meal was first class and she left the kitchen spotless for the next day. We had a fun weekend and could not fault the house nor the help we were given. Cannot recommend this house highly enough for a weekend away with friends or family”
