“A fantastic house in a gorgeous location, amazing views. Its a great space for group holidays - even with all bedrooms full the living areas are spacious and kitchen and storage is huge - and the garden perfect with lots of youngster there too. Loved the facilities, especially the hot tub. Comfy beds, soft towels, all you need for a group getaway. The booking, arrival, departure has all been prompt and easy. Thanks for a great weekend!”

“A friend and I hired Lambourn House in May 2017 for a weekend to celebrate our 30th birthdays with a large group of friends, plus 3 children. The house was excellent value and meant that we were able to stay for three nights for the price of two. Upon arrival, we found the property well equipped, clean and tidy. There were very convenient touches, such as the towels and miniature toiletries in every room, and plenty of toilet roll! The kitchen had all the essentials, with a large wine fridge and a good size fridge and freezer. The oven took a while to cook food and the wine fridge wasn't that cold but it was very convenient for storage of alcohol for a party of 26! The sauna, hot tub and pool room were fantastic and the grounds were lovely, though not overly large. The bedrooms vary in size but are all neat and clean and the communal areas were well proportioned and laid out - the photos don't really do the lovely house justice! We had good and regular communication with Kate & Tom's and the housekeeper before hand and they were very helpful with answering all our questions prior to arriving. I would very much recommend this property and would be happy to go again!”

“The size, location and configuration of the house are perfect for big get togethers, but the house itself is in dire need of some basic things which would massively improve quality of time spent there. Firstly, the WIFI - it needs to work. 0.2 Meg is unusable - at a bare minium your need 5 Meg if you expect to accommodate working people (or folks who want to stream music). Secondly the kitchen - it's totally underspec'd. Pans - you need several huge pans if people will be cooking for 20 (right now there are none). Baking trays - what's there needs replacing. Serving dishes - several more massive ones. Oven - this is a disgrace. It's not big enough to cater for 20 and neither oven on the range gets hot enough. Also, the grill does not seem to work. There's an Aga which doesn't work. I suggest you get rid of this and stick in a new, working range cooker. Why have a Jacuzzi but no decent oven?? Lastly there was a lack of basic cleaning equipment. We had to go our to buy things to wash up with and clean the surfaces. There wasn't a dustpan either - had to use a cardboard box. All this stuff you could fix for the price of one weekend stay and it would revolutionise the quality of the experience. Even though the location and accommodation work really well for us, I wouldn't go back in the absence of these basic changes. One last point - a positive: Joanne, the housekeeper, is absolutely brilliant.”

“We celebrated my boyfriend's 30th birthday at Lambourn House and it more than lived up to our expectations. The house is beautiful (and huge!) and easily catered for our large group of 26. The hot tub and games room were both big hits, and the dining room comfortably seated us all for dinner. Best weekend ever! Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious getaway with friends.”
