“The house and grounds were lovely and as described and shown on the website. However, given the cost of the weekend, there were a number of issues you need to be aware of and to attend to: The rear door of the house into the garden was broken and could not be locked thus making the house insecure and putting valuables at risk. The hot water was extremely hot to the point that it presented a risk of scolding to a child or adult. The toilet bowl in one of the bedrooms was filthy around the rim (see photos). The visitors book is in need of updating. The housekeepers listed left 2-3 years ago and I am informed by a local friend some of the restaurants, bars eateries are out of date. It would also help if there was a section about the WiFi. It is unacceptable not to inform clients there is no mobile service. All in all, a good weekend marred only by the points above considering the cost of the rental.”
