“We stayed here for a long weekend with a group of friends. The house is in excellent condition with decent size bedrooms and plenty of space. The kitchen is very well equipped and the garden is excellent, particularly for kids.”

“Churchill Wood was the perfect house for our family party. There was loads of space for the children (the eldest nearly 8, and six more from age 7 to a few months) to run around and play games; they considered 'the people who own this house have thought of everything we like' (comment from Sasha, aged 7). The swings, the Wendy House and the little games room were a big hit. The grown-ups appreciated the wonderfully equipped kitchen, lovely outside area, hot tub, barbecue and separate bathrooms for each family. The house itself is beautifully maintained and a joy to spend time in. Ease of booking, the helpfulness of the housekeeper are all big pluses and I would certainly recommend Kate and Tom's to anyone thinking of booking a family or group holiday. Many happy memories for us and the children. Thank you!”

“Great house for a family gathering or celebration. Wonderful to have 2 dishwashers with 16 people all staying! The house is well equipped and they are very generous with basic necessities such as toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, tea and coffee. There is no need to bring towels and the knives are sharp! Bedding is of a high quality. Grounds are great for family games. We also used Benson's Catering for a family celebration and we would really recommend them too!”

“We had a wonderful stay, the house was beautifully kept and very well equipped with more than we could have expected. The only thing that I believe would improve facilities would be a single downstairs toilet which is not attached to someone's shower room. Thank you for a wonderful stay will recommend you to our friends and family.”

“We were 9 adults 7 children and 2 very good dogs. A big family reunion The kitchen was fab and spotlessly clean as was all the house which wasvery practical so we were all relaxed. Loved the two fridges and washing up machines. The conservatory with the games in was enjoyed by all not to mention the hot tub. The beds were all comfy and clean and bedrooms delightful with lots of character. Children loved the little playroom. The only criticism was we wish the lawn had been cut as we wanted to play ball games. Found great walk from the house to a pub through woods off the front drive. We all had a fabulous and very memorable weekend from age 70 to 4 years. Thank you Churchill Wood . We would certainly come again.”
