“Have been buying the 200ml for ages so decided to upgrade the bottle size as my husband loves the texture also. It comes out like a gel, goes on like an oil, and dries to a non-greasy finish. I'm quite amazed that this is the sports variety, its hard to get a good texture and water-resistance in the same sunscreen! I haven't really tested the water-fastness yet as we don't do many beach holidays in summer months, so can't speak for that unfortunately, but am glad its there. You have to rub it in pretty quickly as the solvent evaporates very quickly (so do lower arm, then upper arm - if you wipe it up your arm you won't be able to disperse it quickly enough to be sure of good coverage!) I wouldn't say dry touch, but definitely sinks in nicely and leaves a moisturised non-greasy skin. I've been happy with my skin texture after using and haven't been applying moisturiser afterward. My husband in particular loves it, because he trims his head and beard to 1.5mm every 2 weeks; this means his skin shows through the hair so needs protection, but the hair traps creams which are hard to rub in/disperse. The gel turns almost instantly to an oily texture at body temp that runs over his skin readily (over his scalp and face) but then evaporates well to leave no residue/glooping. He gets frustrated using suncreams with hairy arms and legs (though is fanatical about it being from Australia), so finding this one I don't see him switching to another sunscreen any time soon. Being SPF30 you will still get tan-lines with it if you're out in the sun all day, which I guess means consider higher SPF if you don't want this or if you're very sensitive to the sun - I've bought the sports gel spf50 for our upcoming holiday to portugal as I want more aging and cancer protection and less tanning. For UK daily use, I'm probably sticking with the 30.”

“I was disappointed as it is not gel but oil. I expected it like Biore’s sunscreen gel that I cannot buy in this country. Good quality and I will use it but I am not keen on oil based sunscreens and will never buy it again.”

“Fairly strong alcohol gel like smell but really good doesn't stain clothes and stays on well did not burn when using it, quite oily but apart from that great used it going water parks and while in America”
