“I bought 004 Neutral Porcelain after colour-matching with a similar skinned YouTuber. I’m 45 and enjoy wearing natural-to-radiant, medium coverage foundations. I was worried this might be too high a coverage for me, but I was pleasantly surprised! I received it one afternoon and applied a half-pump on my cheek to test the colour. I was amazed how it applied to unprepared skin, leaving a radiant, mildly dewy finish that skimmed over my dry patches and did not clog on my baby hairs. Next day, I dabbed it on with fingertips (after exfoliation and proper prep) and finished with a damp sponge. Flawless finish! One pump does my full face. The formula is touted as a foundation plus concealer, so I can use it on my dark circles and it camouflages them beautifully for day, although a dab of the matching concealer in Neutral Swan really elevates them at night. Spot application over blemishes with the tip of a beauty blender blurs them away instantly - the coverage is great to build. There’s a very slight radiance that reflects the light and it’s very flattering, but this can be mattified with a dusting of loose powder if needed. I prefer it without powder for its slight dewy finish. Worn either way, it doesn’t settle in my fine lines, which surprises the heck out of me. Although quite runny, its texture is lovely and creamy, with plenty of slip, which gives ample time to blend before drying down. However, it doesn’t dry powdery or matt and it still manages to feel hydrating all day. There’s minimum transfer and it doesn’t oxidise, not with this colour anyway. 004 is virtually identical to L’Oréal True Match 1N Ivory, but is slightly more full coverage with a touch more radiance, although not as iridescent as Maybelline Skin Tint 05.5 which looks/feels great at first, but cakes on dry patches as the day wears on, and oxidises throughout the day. Catrice out-performs the Skin Tint in both these areas. I would say that this Catrice foundation is a great step-up from L’Oréal True Match if you want a more polished daytime look, or more glamorous, full-coverage for evening. It wears beautifully on my 45 year old normal-to-dry skin. I would happily recommend this lovely, affordable foundation.”

“Without a doubt the best foundation I have EVER tried and I’ve tried the likes of Estée Lauder’s Double Wear and Armani’s Luminous Silk. True Skin by Catrice is hydrating with a beautiful natural but flawless finish. I have dry skin but this never clings to my dry areas. It covers all redness, it doesn’t settle into fine lines, doesn’t break me out and it lasts all day. I get compliments on my skin on a regular basis now. Consider me stunned and wowed and a customer of Catrice for life! I don’t want to wear any other foundation!”

“Love the True Skin Hydrating Foundation which is very aptly named. Has to be applied quickly as it sets quickly. The Cool Nude gives me a very natural look and it covers really well. Great price as with all Justmylook products and sent very quickly after ordering.”
