I love how the incense burning ghost trap has a very vintage used look to it. It's also pretty big. I love the overall look. It's a funny thought to make it an incense burner. I love it!

It's plastic, but the paint application is good, and it has that used weathered look you'd want from a worn look ghost trap. It also looks great as a display piece with the nice stand that comes with it. It could only be better if some of the knobs and switches moved and you got some incense cones to go with it (presumably smelling of marshmallows or an idea of what musky smell Slimer might give off).

Remember the original ghostbusters? This is a ghost trap, like the one in the film, just smaller, and lighter, and incapable of trapping ghosts (to the best of my knowledge, maybe ghosts can be trapped by any incense burner with a lid, who knows). It will appeal to people who like ghostbusters, and want a ghost trap. It is, without doubt, the best incense burner I have ever owned, and over the years I have owned, at least 3. Incense cones don't burn for long, but in this they look cool for that short time. Disappointingly, it is not a full size replica, if anything its around 2 thirds, maybe 3 quarters. But once you get over that, visually it is an awesome little thing. Pretty much all plastic, and lightweight too, but the distressed effects on the paint hide those facts quite well. Switches and rotary knobs? they look right, but they don't move at all and are fixed solidly in place. this is pretty much a static exhibit. The rollers underneath the trap? while it is good they are there, also do not move. They do however slot into the grooves of the ghostbusters plate under the trap quite nicely to stop it slipping off too easily. Mine are a little wonky though, slightly misaligned so the trap will lean right or left depending which wheels are fully in their slots as the other 2 will be slightly off. The only metal part/s in the thing are for the actual burner. it is a small tube (think thimble like, but longer) with a washer around it. This tube slots into the plastic inside the trap and holds one cone incense stick. I was initially a bit concerned about having an incense cone lit and smouldering away with the traps (plastic) lids closed as they are in pretty close proximity and it gets very hot. There are extra holes in the base to allow air into the chamber when the lids are shut and the cone is lit, so it will keep smouldering with the lids shut. The doors do get hot, but despite running a number of cones through the trap, it hasnt damaged the plastic, or even the labels on top of the doors. It looks best with the lids closed and the smoke escaping through the gaps like the film kind of did. It looks impressive. Lifting the (slightly delicate feeling) handle on this trap hinges the top up exposing the inner chamber fully so you can remove the inner tray (with the incense burner tube in situ) and take it away for easy cleaning. Theres almost no heat from under the cone so no concerns about whats under the trap, but it is still better and safer to have it on its stand. Is it worth the money? if it did nothing at all? no. It's too small for the price despite looking pretty screen accurate. When lit and spewing out ghost vapours? yes, just about worth it. Had it been full size? I would say yep, one hundred percent worth it in every way. Just being slightly too small lets it down. What would make it perfect would be a full size replica and a green led in the trap to illuminate the smoke. The size I cannot do anything about, but that led? thats happening.

A little smaller than I thought it was going to be and you have to find the right size cone incense to fit or else the top doesn't close right
