“Read other reviews and wanted a longer handle for two hands. Good blend of power, control and spin. Well balanced and quick at the net. Solid hits even at 7.8 oz. Slightly smaller elongated paddle but really have not noticed any difference vs. wider paddles. Longer sweet spot gives me more reach. FYI wrapped with white ADV tennis overwrap. Awesome. Use two fingers on back for two hander. Second (third?) childhood for this 82 year old.”
“I grew fond of the JOOLA brand after using their Ping Pong Paddles (aka Table Tennis Rackets). There’s a quality I trust with this brand, which clearly translated over to their Pickleball paddles. This is a really good quality product from the wrap on the handle to the texturing on the paddle. It’s extremely lightweight, too. Easy to swing and grip without having to use excessive force.All that said, the style of this paddle is not for everyone. It’s a smaller size than traditional Pickleball options, which means there is a smaller hit zone. You need to be more precise to hit the ball accurately, and as such, this is best for more professional players. I measured the width of the paddle at approximately 7.25 inches wide and around 10.75 inches high, but with the hit area closer to 9 inches high. The length of the handle is around 5 inches.If speed is your thing, then I recommend using this paddle. But if you just want to play casual to moderate/intermediate, I recommend looking for more traditional options like the Helium Atmos (ASIN: B09SVMGWLL).”
“Purchased this Joola Vision 16mm, paddle in November 2022. I know I'm hard on my paddles, I play every day. But, this paddles hasn't held up as well as my other paddles. I've reached out to Joola for a remedy, but I haven't heard anything from them. I like the paddle. However, I just order a different one with a better grade of carbon fiber surface. Not just "carbon friction" .”
“I’ve been playing for a couple of years, coming from a racquetball background. I’ve been playing with carbon fiber paddles. This paddle is very soft, which has taken me out of a power game completely. Where 3rd shot drops were difficult for me, with this paddle it has made them a lot easier as well as controlled shots. I love using spin and this paddle really generates a lot of spin. Overhead smash shots are not what they use to be. Overall this paddle has reset my game plan, something that in the long run will be beneficial for me. My paddle is the 16mm. I’m really excited learning to play a more skilled game.”
