Incredible difference in the accuracy of my shots. The ball pops off the paddle, and the spin has increased

I’ve used this paddle over the past few weeks instead of my standard Franklin Sports paddle, which I have used for the past seven months. Using the Joola has been a great experience, and I feel I can drive harder with greater control. I Like that it feels even lighter, and after a while, I felt I could get even more spin out of this paddle. I’m putting the old paddle away and moving on with this one.

This is an amazing pickleball paddle. It is a well-made paddle. I am very pleased with the quality. It is a sturdy yet lightweight paddle. This paddle provides more power and control. I also get more spin. The ball just pops off the paddle (such a difference from my previous paddle). The texture on the paddle is fine (compared to medium). I like the comfortable grip. This paddle has helped me improve my game. I wish it came with a cover (surprising it does not come with one at this price point). This paddle provides me with consistent drives, dinks, and dinking. This is a quality paddle that has definitely improved my game.

I come from a tennis background, and have been playing pickleball for about a year about 3-4 times a week. I've had a few paddles before and at this price point, the differences are more subtle, but much more welcomed. My absolute favorite part about this paddle is how consistent it is, it will hit the same shot the same way every single time which I can definitely not say about my head paddle. The entire face feels consistently responsive with a slightly lower rebound around the edges (as you'd expect). This paddle also has a great level of power, it has a decent pop but not an overly exaggerated pop, meaning once you get your powerful shots down you can have an extremely controlled, more powerful gameplay.Overall this paddle has definitely elevated my level, some friends have pointed out my game looks much more 'controlled' which goes very well with my opinion of the paddle. It has unfortunately pointed out areas of my game which need more improvement where before I may have been blaming the paddle...I played with the Ben Johns Hyperion CAS 16 before, and felt like it left a lot to be desired, it didn't feel quite as refined, the styling honestly was too flashy for me, and the weight distribution wasn't where I wanted it. In comparison this Scorpeus really hits the sweetspot everywhere for me. Not too power hungry, but not too soft, not too heavy but not too light either. If you're looking to elevate consistency while adding controlled power I would genuinely recommend this paddle. I look forwards to seeing where it takes me!

Very good feel to this paddle. It has displaced my other paddle as my primary, although I will carry both in my bag. (I'm not put off by the lack of a case as I have a sling bag that I carry everything except my shoes in.) I'm not usually bedazzled by an item just because of the endorsement but this paddle really delivers. Quality materials and grip.

I've been playing tennis for 20 years and pickleball for about 5. I'm finally getting serious about pickleball and wanted to move up from my intermediate level paddle to something more advanced. Paddles are very personal and it is pretty important to try them before you buy them, especially in this cost range. I've got to say that I have spent this much on a similar quality tennis racquet and so the cost was worth it if the paddle delivered. This was a great paddle but it didn't work for me as well as the Peresus. The head on this paddle is a little wider and shorter than the Perseus. For me, my action didn't feel as quick and effortless. They both were about the same weight, but this one felt a little more head heavy. But, both are fantastic. Control is superb. And it is effortless to add spin to the shot. It immediately improved my play at every facet of my game.I think you have to be ready for a paddle of this caliber to take advantage of the features. This is a great paddle to consider. The only downside is that I would like for paddles in this range to be available in different handle sizes. The 4.25 of this paddle is a little small for me. I would normally use a 4 3/8 in a tennis racquet. I'm sort of shocked that this level of paddle is a one size fits all.

Excellent, professional-quality racquet. I knew immediately once I held it I was going to like it. The grip is firm enough for full control, but comfortable even after playing several matches. The surface is outrageous and adds another dimension to spin and control. It will be hard to play another paddle after playing with this one.
